Anda “June” Timbal (born in June, hence the stage name, JUNE) is a Romanian singer and songwriter. Exuding sophistication, elegance and glamour, she likes to bestow and to create, it is inventive, ambitious, perfectionist and loves challenges. She studied several musical genres, building a repertoire rich in pop songs, classic jazz, covers, pop-opera, classical areas, lieder etc.

Anda June began her musical studies at the Iasi Arts School and then further enriched at the University of Arts “George Enescu” to ward singing and musical pedagogy. She also participated in various sessions and workshops, including classic jazz under Anca Parghel.
Anda began her artistic activity in 1999 creating the EclipxA group, along with a fellow composer, singing euro-dance style. The group had great success with the first two singles, broadcasted on over 60 radio stations, and as a result, in 2000 will be released the first video.
She started the solo career in 2004 under the name JUNE, when she qualified for the semifinal of Eurovision – Romania. Also she recorded the first solo video for the single “Tell Me Why” – own composition (music & text). The following year (2005) she reached the Eurovision Romania final, ranking 6th after televoting, followed by many interviews and TV shows (“Teo”, “Sunday in the family”, etc.), and also, in 2007, by the recording of a new single and video “Nights of Love”, composed by Laurentiu Duta, along with tours and concerts in USA with Directia 5 and Romanian seaside, with 3Sud East, Mirabela Dauer, Mihai Treistariu and many others.
Since 2008 Anda achieved multiple national and international collaborations: in 2008 with producer and Finnish DJ Joel Kalsi and in 2009 with Petre Geambasu orchestra, alongside many musical performances and concerts tours. This year also resulted in working with the “Empire Studio” for dubbing voices for films and animation, and musical interpretations of roles, “Cleon” and “O cantareata” in the “Mincinosul” comedy by Carlo Goldoni, directed by Thomas Enache and also starring “Roxie Hart” – in the “Chicago” musical, staged during the “Broadway” show, which contains 14 artistic moments of famous musicals at the National Operetta Theater from Bucharest.
Also from 2009 she collaborated with “Brass Quintet Bucharest”, with whom he played jazz songs, famous arias, and ever-greens in shows in Bucharest, following, in 2011, by the launch of the live musical project “JUNE – Jazz & Classics “- voice, piano, saxophone – offering the public an exquisite show, full of sensitivity, diversity, including classic jazz and popular ever-green songs .
